Day 1: Nairobi – Sirimon Gate – Old Moses Camp
Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Nairobi to Naro Moru town for registration and gear check. Head to Sirimon Gate for a 3-hour forest trek, where you may encounter unique wildlife. Enjoy lunch before an afternoon acclimatization trek, and then settle in for dinner and an overnight stay at Old Moses Camp (full board).
Day 2: Old Moses Camp – Liki North Camp
After breakfast, embark on a scenic trek along the Sirimon Track, hiking towards Liki North Valley nestled between the peaks of Sendeyo and Teleki. Enjoy lunch en route before arriving at Liki North Camp (Full Board) for a night of high-altitude camping under the stars.
Day 3: Liki North – Shipton’s Camp
Hike through Mackinder’s Valley, taking in stunning views of Mount Kenya’s jagged peaks and glaciers. Enjoy a midday rest stop for lunch before proceeding to Shipton’s Camp (4,300m). Overnight stay in high-altitude tents (full board).
Day 4: Shipton’s Camp – Met Station Camp
Rise early and begin the descent via Austrian Hut, with breakfast at Teleki Lodge. Continue trekking through lush montane forests toward Met Station Camp, with a lunch break en route. Spend the night in high-altitude tents (full board).
Day 5: Met Station – Naro Moru – Nairobi
Enjoy a morning trek through the serene forest to Naro Moru Park Gate, where a vehicle awaits to transfer you back to Nairobi, concluding your thrilling Mount Kenya trekking experience.
